The Kihwa Scholarship was established to support the dreams of college and graduate school students who demonstrate dedication to academic achievement and community service but face difficult circumstances. The scholarship was named after its founder, the late Ms. Kihwa Kwak, and this year marks its 21st year of giving back to the community. The Kihwa Scholarship awards a total of $6,000 each year to 2 recipients ($3,000 per student) for the following academic year.
