AWCA care for families’ mental, physical, and spiritual health issues so that they could become contributing members of the community. The AWCA Family Care Center with Grace Hotline served as its main help for our community. AWCA has partnered with Care Plus NJ since 2019 for those with emergency mental health, personal and/or family-related issues. Care Plus NJ’s KAOS (Korean American Outreach Services) program aims to provide linguistic and culturally appropriate services to meet the mental health needs of the fast-growing population of Korean American children, adolescents and adults in Bergen County.
