In addition to providing needy families in the area with food & grocery store gift certificates, the AWCA & Korea Daily newspaper envisioned greater outreach with the funds raised from October’s We Ah Jah Community Giving Bazaar. With this goal in mind, the AWCA & Korea Daily will volunteer at Straight & Narrow on January 9, 2013. Straight and Narrow is a nonprofit organization which provides services to the community with addiction & rehab services, temporary housing, and HIV/AIDS services. They have served the community for almost 6 decades & currently provides lunch and dinner to 240 participants at their Paterson location. The AWCA & Korea Daily staff will provide & serve lunch to the participants, in hopes of a memorable and meaningful experience through community giving.
